Job Description:
As a Procurement Executive, you will be the backbone of our production efficiency. You will responsible for the end-to-end sourcing of critical electrical and mechanical components—ranging from lithium-ion cells to high-grade alloy frames. Your mission will to ensure that our assembly lines never stop by securing a steady flow of high-quality materials at the most competitive costs
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard global and local suppliers for EV-specific components (motors, controllers, batteries) and standard automotive parts.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors; conduct quarterly performance audits focused on quality, delivery timelines, and sustainability.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Secure competitive pricing and favorable terms while ensuring all contracts comply with evolving 2026 trade and environmental regulations.
- Supply Chain Resilience: Develop contingency plans for high-risk components and manage inventory levels to prevent production bottlenecks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the R&D and Engineering teams to source materials for new prototypes and cost-reduction (VAVE) initiatives.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Utilize ERP/Procurement software to track spend analysis, lead times, and cost-saving KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (highly preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the EV or Automotive industry (2 wheeler).
Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of EV components (Battery chemistry, BLDC motors, IoT modules)
