Job Summary:

The Executive – Thermoforming, PET Sheets & Blowing will be responsible for overseeing daily operations related to PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and bottle blowing processes. The role ensures smooth production flow, optimal machine performance, quality assurance, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

  • Supervise and control PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and bottle blowing processes.

  • Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet targets and delivery timelines.

  • Monitor and optimize machine parameters for efficient production and minimal waste.

  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.

2. Quality Control

  • Ensure product quality as per customer specifications and internal standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions for defects or deviations.

  • Maintain proper records of process parameters and quality reports.

3. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, energy savings, and material reduction.

  • Support new product trials, tooling validation, and process development.

  • Work closely with R&D and QA for continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain production logs, batch records, and machine performance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and safety standards.

  • Support audits and internal inspections.

5. Team Coordination

  • Supervise operators and ensure proper manpower utilization.

  • Train and mentor operators in process handling and quality practices.

  • Promote teamwork, safety, and discipline on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Plastic Technology, Polymer Science, or related field.

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and bottle blowing operations.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of PET material properties and processing parameters.

    • Hands-on experience with thermoforming and extrusion machines.

    • Familiarity with mold setup, changeover, and troubleshooting.

    • Understanding of quality control and production reporting systems.
