Position Summary:
The Head of IT Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization’s entire IT infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, system reliability, and seamless IT service delivery. The role focuses on managing IT operations, infrastructure, security, disaster recovery, and leading the IT support team to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily IT operations, ensuring high system availability, network security, and efficient IT service delivery.

Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Lead IT infrastructure planning and deployment, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.

Ensure cybersecurity protocols are in place and that all IT operations comply with security standards and regulations.

Manage IT budgets, resource planning, vendor relationships, and procurement of IT equipment and services.

Supervise IT support teams to deliver timely and effective technical assistance to all departments.

Plan and test disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, service quality, and user satisfaction.

Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide tailored solutions.

Ensure regular system audits, risk assessments, and adherence to compliance standards.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

8-10 years of experience in IT operations, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, system administration, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.

Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and cloud-based solutions.
