Lead Financial Reporting (Krystalite)

This position is responsible to analyse information, develop budgets, track expenses against planned/approved budgets and report any risks related to projects. This position is also responsible to enable different departments to work with user-friendly templates to prepare departmental budgets – top-down targets and generate a bottom-up budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Release the budget & supplementary budget in the system once reviewed.
  • Enter the non-manufacturing expenses submitted by cost centre custodian into the SAP system.
  • Prepare and submit the planned expenses to Controller (Analysts) during corporate plan cycle. After approval, incorporate in SAP to get plan/actual comparison post which analysis needs to be done.
  • Calculate the activity price derived via production plan.
  • Create, review and change the Internal Order master data with required data (as and when required).
  • Conduct costing run before the start of new period (approx. 1 week earlier) to estimate the costs for all required materials.
  • Prepare planned vs actual reports on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis for Senior Management’s review.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Identify financial or operating risks associated with the execution of the contract or project.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to determine value for products and their related costs.
  • Establish objectives for saving; minimizing, controlling, and/or managing expenses.
  • All other tasks assigned by the Head Budgeting & Planning.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master's degree in the relevant field.
  • Experience: 4 - 7 years in relevant field
  • Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
