Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the operations of the Finished Goods and Raw Material Stores, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, timely dispatch, and compliance with company policies and safety standards. The role is responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, reducing losses, and ensuring materials and products are stored, handled, and delivered effectively to support production and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of Finished Goods and Raw Material warehouses.

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely receipt of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods.

  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and reduce variances.

  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align material availability with operational needs.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within warehouse operations.

  • Monitor warehouse KPIs (inventory accuracy, space utilization, order fulfillment timelines, etc.) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage warehouse staff, allocate resources effectively, and provide training where required.

  • Ensure ERP/SAP entries are accurate and reflect real-time stock levels.

  • Conduct periodic audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical vs. system inventory.

  • Develop and implement strategies for warehouse optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 7–10 years of experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in manufacturing (FMCG, textiles, petrochemicals, or similar industries).

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (ERP/SAP preferred).

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
