Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee safety operations at our Head Office. The role involves proactively managing health and safety protocols, responding effectively to any incidents within the premises, and ensuring that all fire safety systems and equipment remain in optimal working condition to foster a safe and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire risk assessments and housekeeping audits to ensure safety compliance.
- Lead daily HSE briefings and coordinate with Group HSE Manager.
- Investigate safety incidents and submit reports with corrective actions.
- Set and monitor annual HSE objectives and operational standards.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues professionally.
- Deliver HSE orientations and annual refresher trainings.
- Oversee work permits and fire safety systems via MOGAN System.
- Propose safety improvements in consultation with HSE leadership.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Conduct emergency drills and attend weekly coordination meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within corporate or plant environments.
- Solid understanding of fire safety systems, emergency response procedures, and legal HSE regulations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 and other applicable HSE quality management systems.
