Position: Section Head Quality Monitoring - Process
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control and quality monitoring within an organization. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Set quality objectives and targets, monitor quality performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, resolve quality issues, and enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design quality standards, procedures, and specifications for the laboratory department.
- Review existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines.
- Apply new and more efficient testing methods to improve testing accuracy while observing testing
- processes to ensure effective monitoring of quality standards.
- Review the inventory of chemicals and other consumable items, to ensure adequate tested material supply is available.
- Review the reports of all tested samples.
- Review quality inspection results of lots submitted by section heads and associates.
- Serve as the approval authority to review & approve or reject master data requests.
- Facilitate in resolving customer complaints through the inspection of goods at return, mark items as
- required and perform stock adjustment and grading of material.
- Review all quality management requirements related to audit and provide all necessary information.
- Conduct root cause analysis and follow up on issues logged on internal issues.
- Supervise the inspection lot for equipment calibration based on master data & maintenance order
- Release and results while taking subsequent action.
- Review inspection of stock transport order (STO) and record results.
- Carry out performance appraisal process, approve leaves and identify the compensation gaps at the time
- of annual performance appraisal for the direct reports
- Design employee development plans as well as providing support and guidance to the subordinates, in this regard.
- Implement strategies in alignment with the strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction
- and focus.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field
Job Related Experience: 10+ years
