Position: Store Executive

Position Summary:

        The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting different plant departments in achieving their targets by ensuring uninterrupted quality material supply and managing its issuance. In addition, to monitor store material usage trends and devise ways to adhere to the departmental budget while not compromising on quality.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining an automated supply inventory database
  • Monitor and highlight weight variation on consignments
  • Updating database of materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Generating related reports to verify inventory levels
  • Determining re-order activity and usage rates
  • Verifying spare part reservation in work order
  • Issuing out spares physically and then posting out in SAP while at same time updating physical bin card for issued spares
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using inventory management software.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment to customers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
  • Assigning proper storage areas for new items, determining and assigning shelves, racks and bin numbers in a manner that supports 5S in work area and in accordance with established storage systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master/Graduation in Supply Chain/Business management or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper/ Incharge/Executive, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
